Qurbani Project Spreading Joy and Nourishment During Eid

The act of Qurbani (sacrificial offering) during the holy month of Eid al-Adha holds immense significance, symbolizing sacrifice, charity, and the sharing of blessings with those in need. At New Castle Welfare Organization, we carry out our Qurbani Project in both Karachi and Tharparkar, ensuring that the blessings of Eid reach the most vulnerable families who would otherwise be unable to afford meat.

Our Qurbani Project – Giving Back to Communities

We aim to make Eid a time of joy, dignity, and compassion for families who are struggling with poverty and hunger, providing them with high-quality, fresh meat as part of our commitment to alleviating food insecurity.

🐑 Sacrifice & Distribution: Our team organizes the slaughter of healthy livestock, ensuring that the meat is ethically sourced and distributed fairly.

🍖 Meat Distribution: Each year, we distribute fresh meat from the sacrificed animals to the most marginalized families, including widows, orphans, the elderly, and daily wage earners.

🏙 Karachi: In Karachi’s urban slums and underprivileged neighborhoods, our volunteers ensure that families who are struggling to make ends meet receive their fair share of meat.
🏜 Tharparkar: In the desert regions of Tharparkar, where food scarcity is more prevalent, our team works to distribute Qurbani meat to communities in need, improving their Eid celebrations.

Impact of the Qurbani Project

📦 Thousands of Families Benefited: Each year, hundreds of families across Karachi and Tharparkar receive their share of Qurbani meat, significantly improving their food security and enhancing their Eid experience.

👦 Empowering the Needy: Providing Qurbani meat ensures that even the most vulnerable communities can enjoy the festive meal of Eid, promoting dignity and social inclusion.

💖 Promoting Community Spirit: The distribution of Qurbani meat is carried out with the support of local volunteers, fostering a sense of community, solidarity, and compassion.

Our Vision for the Qurbani Project

We aim to expand our Qurbani Project each year, reaching more families and ensuring that the spirit of Eid — based on charity, sharing, and kindness — touches every corner of Karachi and Tharparkar. Through your support, we can bring joy and nourishment to those who need it the most, making Eid a time of unity and celebration.
“The best of deeds is to give to those who need, and nothing is more deserving than helping others during the blessed days of Eid.”
