Wash Projects Clean Water for a Healthier Tomorrow

Water is life — yet for many communities across Sindh, especially in arid regions like Tharparkar, access to clean water remains a daily struggle. At New Castle Welfare Organization, our WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) initiatives are focused on transforming this reality by bringing safe and sustainable water solutions directly to the people who need them most.

Hand Pump Installations Across Sindh

We have installed hundreds of hand pumps throughout rural Sindh to provide communities with easy access to clean, drinkable water.

✅ Target Areas: Underserved and remote villages where no water supply infrastructure exists.

🚿 Impact: Reduced waterborne diseases, improved hygiene, and relief for women and children who often walk miles to fetch water.

🔧 Sustainability: Our pumps are built to last, with community members trained to manage maintenance and minor repairs.

Open Surface Wells in Tharparkar

Recognizing the unique challenges faced by the drought-prone region of Tharparkar, we have constructed open surface wells to provide water for both household and livestock use.

🌍 Why Open Wells?: In areas where underground water is not easily accessible, open surface wells offer a practical and immediate solution.

🐪 Serving Communities and Livestock: These wells are a lifeline for families and animals, helping sustain daily life and agriculture in harsh desert conditions.

🏗 Locally Built and Maintained: Our wells are constructed using traditional, cost-effective methods with community participation to ensure local ownership.

Our Commitment

Through our growing network of hand pumps and wells, we are not only quenching thirst but restoring hope, health, and dignity. With your support, we aim to expand these life-changing WASH projects across Sindh and other water-deprived areas of Pakistan. Together, we can build a future where every drop counts — and no one is left behind.
